About

jamie150border1Jamie Cavanaugh is an interactive producer, educator, & writer. She has worked on a wide range of projects for clients including the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, Prostate Cancer Foundation, UCLA Anderson School of Management, UCLA Professional Film Programs, The Huntington, Madeline Stuart, and Arcadia.

Jamie earned a Master of Arts degree in critical studies from the Film & Television Department at UCLA. For 5 years she worked as Interactive Producer with KBDA, an award-winning communication design studio in Los Angeles. Currently, she works for herself and is “working the web” — building web sites and interactive projects, answering web questions, and helping people with their web needs.

As an educator, Jamie teaches web & interactive design at Art Center College of Design & Santa Monica College. Jamie’s role as an educator is to prepare students for communication design careers, and to promote web & interactive design as an integral part of a graphic design education. In addition, Jamie’s vision is to make “everything about web” easier to understand, and for people to feel the same affinity to it as she does or — at the very least, to be less daunted by all things web.
